boAt Teams Up with Knowles to Elevate Sound Quality in Nirvana X Earbuds
boAt is redefining premium sound in India with the launch of its flagship Nirvana X TWS earbuds, featuring Knowles balanced armature (BA) drivers for a high-fidelity audio experience. Unveiled at CES 2025, these earbuds combine advanced acoustic technology with personalized sound tuning featuring the Knowles Curve, setting a new standard for true wireless stereo (TWS) audio in the Indian market.
High-Performance Audio with Knowles Balanced Armatures
The Nirvana X earbuds integrate Knowles’ BA drivers in a hybrid configuration, delivering exceptional treble clarity and an extended frequency response up to 40 kHz. These advanced drivers meet JAS Hi-Res Audio certification standards, ensuring a detailed and immersive listening experience. Complementing the 10mm dynamic driver in each earbud, Knowles BAs enhance high-frequency performance for a balanced and dynamic sound profile.
Optimal Listening with the Knowles Curve
boAt has tuned the Nirvana X earbuds to the Knowles Preferred Listening Response Curve. The research behind the Knowles Curve reveals that listeners across age ranges and hearing abilities prefer expanded treble response beyond 10 kHz to deliver the best and most satisfying music listening experience. Knowles BAs enable boAT to achieve the higher frequencies necessary to produce the optimal audio performance to bring depth and life to music.
"At boAt, our goal is to provide consumers with unparalleled listening experiences that redefine expectations. We chose Knowles BA drivers for the Nirvana X because of their exceptional ability to deliver supreme audio clarity and detail. Knowles’ innovative technology perfectly aligns with our vision of bringing studio-grade sound to our customers, setting a new benchmark for TWS earbuds in India," said Sameer Mehta, CO-Founder & CEO of boAt.
A New Benchmark for TWS Earbuds
With the Nirvana X, boAt is raising the bar for accessible, high-quality audio in India.
“Our collaboration with boAt and Mimi underscores a shared vision to redefine what’s possible in audio technology,” said Jon Kiachian, President of Medical and Specialty Audio at Knowles Corporation. “Integrating Knowles BAs and the Knowles Curve, boAt demonstrates that audio designers can create products that not only elevate sound performance but also pave the way for a future where personalized, high-resolution audio is the standard.”
The boAt Nirvana X will be available in India by the end of Q1 2025.
